Cilantro Lime Dressing

Updated: Mar 19, 2021

This cilantro lime sauce is so good and will elevate any plain dish you have. The best part is it only takes 5 minutes to make! It also has just the right amount of tang and heat. Here I added it on top of sautéed zucchini, quinoa, and shredded chicken. Making a healthy meal even more enjoyable. You can put it on tacos 🌮, steak 🥩, salad 🥗, potatoes 🥔, burrito 🌯 bowls, or use it to dip veggies in, the possibilities are endless 🤩.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup cilantro

  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt or mayonnaise

  • 1/2 teaspoon peeled ginger

  • 1 jalapeno or serrano pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3 garlic cloves (2 tbsps minced)

  • juice of 1 lime

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/2 avocado 🥑 (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Mix everything together in a food processor until smooth. Do not over blend to try to keep chunks of the cilantro intact.

Chef's Notes:

  • If you prefer your sauce/dressing thinner you can gradually add water until it reaches the right consistency.

  • The sauce will stay good in the fridge for up to a week.
